Valley Paint is currently seeking experienced and non-experienced Journeyman Painters & Preppers to join our team. As a Journeyman Painter, you will be responsible for painting and enhancing the appearance of various properties, including offices, retail spaces, warehouses, homes, and more. As a Prepper, you will play a crucial role in preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming, ensuring a smooth and durable finish. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, excellent painting skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching
Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
Ensure the quality and durability of the paint job
Comply with safety and environmental regulations
Complete projects within specified timelines
Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools
Qualifications for Journeyman:
Proven experience as a Journeyman painter
Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials
Attention to detail and an eye for color
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
Physical stamina and strength
Safety-conscious and adheres to best practices
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Experience with wallcovering and specialty finishes a plus

Pay: DOE (Depending on experience)
Schedule:
8-10 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Some weekend work may be required
