Sun Country Truck Equipment Inc is the premier commercial truck body manufacturer and commercial vehicle equipment supplier in Arizona. We are currently looking for a multi-skilled service technician. Applicant must have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter in order to join our team.
Specific job responsibilities include:
When needed Look over jobs with service manager to determine needed time and materials for repair
Diagnose mechanical repairs and make maintenance recommendations as needed
Walk customers through repairs done to their truck as needed
Instruct customers on best practice equipment uses and recommend maintenance with the help of the service manager
Maintain a clean work area
Comply with all company safety standards while conducting work
Skills Required:
Proven experience in truck body installation or a related field.
Experience working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to use a range of hand and power tools.
Experience MIG welding is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills to liaise with colleagues and sales team.
Strong focus on safety at all times.
Requirements:
Technical or vocational training in a related field is desirable.
ASE Certification is a plus.
Previous experience in a related field is an advantage.
Must have own tools.
Ability to work long hours in an outside open-air shop.
Must be able to safely lift a minimum of 50lbs.
Ability to stoop, bend over, and stand for long periods of time.

Weekend work not required but could be available from time to time on a voluntary basis
