About the Role: We are a high-end used car dealership in Scottsdale seeking a skilled Multi-Platform Auto and Truck Mechanic. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse range of high-quality vehicles, including classic cars, trucks, BMWs, Mercedes, and Audis. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing vehicles for resale and maintaining our fleet of Turo vehicles. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to hire another mechanic of your choosing to enhance our service team.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair vehicles, including classic cars, trucks, BMWs, Mercedes, and Audis, to prepare them for resale.
Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs, such as engine work, transmission services, and brake repairs.
Maintain and service a fleet of Turo vehicles, ensuring they are in excellent condition for rental.
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and repair equipment to effectively address vehicle issues.
Stay current with the latest repair techniques and technologies for both classic and modern high-end vehicles.
Communicate clearly with customers and team members about vehicle conditions and necessary repairs.
Maintain accurate service records and ensure all work meets our dealership's high-quality standards.
Work independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
Select and hire an additional mechanic to support and expand the service team.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with classic cars, trucks, BMWs, Mercedes, and Audis.
Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
ASE certification (or equivalent) preferred but not required.
Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Own tools required.
