We are seeking a reliable and skilled individual to join our team as an On-Site Construction Assistant. As an On-Site Construction Assistant, you will be responsible for completing minor construction tasks on-site, including fixing drywall, performing site maintenance, and addressing minor framing issues. If you have experience in the construction industry and are looking for a new opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Fix drywall holes and cracks
Perform site maintenance tasks, such as cleaning up debris and materials
Address minor framing issues, such as installing trim or replacing rotten wood
Assist with other construction tasks as needed
Work effectively with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
Maintain a clean and organized work site
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in drywall, finishing and framing
Ability to work at heights and in tight spaces
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and take direction from supervisors
High school diploma or equivalent required
