Location: Entire Phoenix Metro Area
Compensation: $20 to $26 per hour, depending on experience
Mileage Reimbursement: $0.70 per mile
Schedule: Approximately 15 to 25 hours per week, mostly daytime, with some flexibility
Position Summary
Crash of Rhinos Painting & Garage Floors is looking for a reliable, experienced person to move trailers, perform basic trailer upkeep and safety checks, haul job‑site trash to our garbage trailer, pick up and deliver materials, and act as the superintendent’s eyes and ears on assigned days throughout the Phoenix Metro area.
Primary Responsibilities
- Move and position trailers for job sites.
- Perform basic trailer upkeep and safety checks (lights, tires, coupler, safety chains, brakes, hitch, and securement hardware).
- Pick up trash from job sites and haul it to the company’s designated garbage trailer; secure all loads safely for transport.
- Pick up materials and supplies from vendors and deliver them to job sites; secure loads properly and return all invoices and packing slips.
- Act as the superintendent’s eyes and ears on assigned days: inspect sites, document conditions, and report any material needs, scheduling issues, or safety concerns.
- Follow all company safety rules and towing procedures and immediately report any equipment damage or site hazards.
Shift / Task Checklist
- Complete a pre‑trip trailer inspection (lights, tires, hitch, safety chains, brakes).
- Collect and secure trash from assigned job sites and load it into the garbage trailer (photos before and after if requested).
- Pick up and deliver materials; return all invoices and packing slips.
- Walk each assigned site to note visible safety issues or missing materials.
Requirements
- Clean driving record and a current driver’s license (DMV record will be required).
- Pre‑employment drug screen.
- Proof of auto insurance with at least $100,000 / $300,000 liability limits.
- A truck that can safely tow our trailers and haul trash and 16‑foot lengths of garage trim (or an equivalent towing and hauling setup).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform light maintenance tasks.
- Reliability, punctuality, good communication skills, and comfort working independently.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Phoenix Metro area.
