The project manager will be responsible for the safe and compliant installation and commissioning of industrial high pressure fog systems. The project manager will spend 50%-75% of their time out of the office overseeing installations around the state and country. All travel expenses paid. The position offers significant opportunities for growth for the successful manager.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with electrical, HVAC and construction principles. The project manager will take initiative in problem solving and will energetically steer each project to completion to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
Project Manager Responsibilities
Coordinate a team of professional sub-contractors to complete all phases of system installation and commissioning within a defined timeline.
Coordinate logistics for product, equipment and personnel.
Interface with and manage internal and external stakeholders, from project inception to completion.
Identify any issues of process, scope and responsibility to ensure success and continuous improvement.
Ensure all works of Fogco are carried out in a safe, high quality and efficient manner.
Adhere to contractual conditions to ensure compliance.
Prepare regular reports on project status.
Qualifications
The project manager must be a proven team leader with a strong background in construction principles and electrical systems.
Experience in delivering HVAC related projects a plus.
Ability to travel up to 75% of time.
Ability to manage field construction activities and resources.
Ability to manage several projects and prioritize.
Highly motivated self-starter.
Ability to work cross functionally with administration, engineering, business development, and construction personnel.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Physical Demands
Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours a day.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours/day, including over varied and uneven surfaces.
Frequently lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs.
Climb and maintain balance on ladders or other high structures.
Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to hard hat, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, arm protection, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines.
