Mold Making Apprentice to join our team.

A place where you are going to be challenged with new projects, designs and working with all
different types of soft materials to create custom pieces? This would include; woodwork, and
working with other materials including but not limited to; foam, steel, aluminum, plastics and
other materials to create our master “plug” to be used to make a mold from.
Everything we make out of precast concrete, we first need to make in our wood shop, it will then
go to our mold shop to make the mold from the finished wood shop “Master Plug”, once
completed we can produce the item in concrete.
This is a daily experience of new and challenging projects to satisfy our customers’ requests.
Duties and Responsibilities of Carpenters:
Responsible for constructing “master plugs” and additional duties
The actual making of fiberglass and urethane (rubber) molds, for our own in house production of
concrete products.
Spraying of primers, paint, gel coat, mold release barriers.
Hand cutting and laying fiberglass mat and bonding layers to together with resins.
Hand trimming and finishing completed molds
Work with blueprints, specifications, and drawings
Inspect work to ensure conformity to specifications and work schedules
Ability to problem solve construction issues
Responsible for keeping and maintaining a clean work space
Ensure that safety is paramount
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Preferably 3-5+ years of Finish Carpentry and/or Cabinet experience.
-Shows attention to detail, and excellent quality of work.
-Team player/works well with others
-Can work independently if needed
-Dependable/reliable, respectful, and honest.
-Have a positive and professional attitude is an absolute must.
