We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Plumber to join our team. The Service Plumber will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in residential and commercial. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in residential and commercial structures.
Diagnose plumbing problems using specialized tools and equipment.
Respond to service calls in a timely manner and provide high-quality customer service.
Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications to map out plumbing layouts.
Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
Recommend repair or replacement options to customers based on diagnosis.
Prepare estimates for plumbing work and obtain customer approvals.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety procedures.
Document services performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
Valid plumbing license (if required by state or local regulations).
Proven experience as a service plumber (typically 2+ years).
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and tools.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
Work Conditions:
On-call availability may be required, including evenings and weekends.
Work in a variety of environments, including residential homes, commercial buildings, crawl spaces, and rooftops.
Use of power tools and plumbing equipment.
