Service Technician - Advantage Forklift Service LLC - Tempe, AZ
Advantage Forklift Service LLC is a locally owned small business operating in Arizona since 2008. We specialize in forklift and material handling maintenance and repairs. We pride ourselves on being prompt, courteous, and honest with all of our customers.
We are looking to fill a full-time service technician position immediately. Prior forklift/material handling/automotive repair and diagnostic skills are required.
This position requires employees to be in direct contact with our customers and vendors on a daily basis. Employees are expected to have a professional, courteous attitude and appearance at all times.
We are a mobile fleet, with a large customer base located within the Phoenix Metro area and statewide (Tucson, Yuma, Prescott, etc.). The majority of our work is completed onsite at our customers' locations.
We provide 24 hour service, but our usual business hours are Mon - Fri, 7am - 5pm. Fluctuations in start and end times, depending on our customers' needs and location, as well as occasional weekend and after-hours work will be required, with as much advance notice given as possible.
As a small, but growing business, we do not offer benefits (paid time off, health insurance, retirement, etc.) at this time. However, a company vehicle, fuel card, smart phone, and uniform (shirts/pants) will be provided for this position.
Applicant should possess the following skills/requirements:
* Mechanically inclined
* Self-motivated, dependable, trustworthy, and a strong work ethic
* Able to learn quickly, follow instructions, and respect authority
* Effectively communicate with all team members and customers
* Follow company policies for completing and turning in all paperwork
* Able to carry and maneuver up to 80 lb. (i.e.: batteries or other large parts, equipment, tools)
* Be comfortable working outdoors year-round
* Excellent attendance, accurate time-keeping, effectively manage time and multiple tasks
* Personal tools are required
* Welding experience a plus, but not required
