As a Shipping Department Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products are accurately labeled, properly wrapped, and efficiently loaded onto our trucks for delivery. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help us maintain our high standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify that all products are labeled correctly with the appropriate part numbers and customer information.
- Carefully wrap and prepare custom cabinets and components for shipment to ensure safe delivery.
- Accurately document all items being shipped, including quantities, descriptions, and any special instructions.
- Load products onto company trucks, ensuring that all items are secure and organized for transport.
- Collaborate with the production team to confirm that all shipments are accounted for and scheduled appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area in compliance with safety standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance shipping efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a shipping.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as needed.
