Redcar is a fast-growing company building modern tools for the Plumbing and HVAC home services industry. We’re looking for a highly experienced Dispatcher with real industry expertise—including experience across multiple locations or service areas.
Role Overview
This is a dispatcher role with a primarily consulting focus. Instead of managing a full board all day, you will guide our team on real-world dispatching best practices, help refine scheduling workflows, and participate in Zoom calls and internal projects. Light dispatching may occur occasionally to demonstrate examples or test workflows.
Responsibilities
-Advise on dispatching best practices for Plumbing/HVAC
-Improve scheduling workflows, technician routing, and on-call processes
-Join internal Zoom calls and project discussions
-Provide insights based on multi-location or multi-market experience
-Help refine service plans, return-visit logic, and customer communication standards
-Review example invoices, timecards, and job flows for accuracy and optimization
Requirements
-3–5+ years HVAC/Plumbing dispatching experience (multi-location strongly preferred)
-Skilled in scheduling, routing, and technician coordination
-Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
-Ability to explain processes and advise on improvements
-Experience with ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or similar tools is a major plus
-Strong organizational skills and a steady, solutions-oriented mindset
