Are you an experienced welder or inspector looking to step up in your career? Join a nationally recognized steel fabrication company known for delivering high-quality commercial, industrial, and bridge projects. We’re seeking a Structural Welding Inspector who is passionate about quality, safety, and precision.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of welded steel structures
Ensure compliance with AWS D1.1, AISC, and project specs
Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
Document all inspections and maintain accurate QA records
Collaborate with production, fabrication, and quality teams
Participate in audits and walkthroughs when required
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of experience in welding inspection or steel fabrication
Familiar with AISC and AWS welding codes
Proficient in using inspection tools (tape measures, fillet gauges, levels, etc.)
AWS-CWI or CAWI certification preferred (or in process)
Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment and wearing PPE
Nice to Have:
Background in structural steel, bridge, or large-scale fabrication projects
Experience with documentation software or Bluebeam PDF
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and navigate shop environments
