Fast-paced and rapidly growing manufacturing company in Chandler AZ is seeking a Metal Fabricator / ARC Welder to become part of our team.
A Fabricator is responsible for fitting, joining, and fabricating our products and accessories by applying appropriate measurement and welding techniques.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
weld milled and stainless/carbon steel components as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions.
Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications. Collaborate with co-workers in production of multi-component parts and large units.
Reads production drawings and recognizes whether the product is set up properly; sets up the form as indicated in the production drawing with correct bill of materials; makes indicated modifications to the set-up, as necessary. Retrieve correct materials and perform various fabrication duties
Organizing workflow to meet parts fabrication department deadlines
Perform the required fabrication/ assembly work using published specifications.

Fabricators need to be able to read a tape measure and pass a tape measure test, know how to use hand tools, and have some general assembly experience. Experience running industrial horizontal and vertical band saws, industrial drills, or a punch press would be preferred, welding and ARC welding experience, be able to read a blueprint, and a tape measure.

1st shift 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday to Friday /Willing to work overtime.
