Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of utility locating experience
Key Responsibilities
Accurately locate and mark underground utilities using professional locating equipment.
Interpret technical documents, construction plans, and utility maps.
Clearly communicate findings and potential conflicts with construction teams, supervisors, and project managers.
Identify unexpected or undocumented utilities encountered in the field.
Perform routine maintenance on locating equipment and recognize performance issues or malfunctions.
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and industry regulations.
Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and field notes.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of utility locating experience (required).
Proficiency with a variety of locating tools and technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Knowledge of Arizona utility regulations and best practices preferred.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and navigate diverse terrain.
