As we continue to expand, we're looking for a talented Xactimate Estimator to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed residential estimates and supplements using Xactimate software, focusing primarily on roofing, siding,
gutters, windows, and minor interior work.
- Understand supplementing a carrier's scope of loss and identify opportunities to maximize job revenue.
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters, contractors, and clients to ensure accurate and fair estimates.
- Review and analyze insurance carrier scope of loss to determine omissions and errors.
- Provide expert advice on scope and cost of repairs.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with all parties involved in the claims process.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, industry standards, and company guidelines.
- Handle multiple claims simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Xactimate estimating software.
- Proven track record in residential property insurance claims estimation.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction materials, and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret insurance scope of loss estimate.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., IICRC, Haag Certified Inspector) are a plus, but not required.
