A local trucking company is looking for a highly skilled diesel mechanic to perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on its’ fleet of trucks and trailers.
Qualifications:
4+ years of diesel mechanic experience
Metal fabrication experience a plus
Valid driver’s license
Highly motivated and independent
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
Responsibilities:
-Perform regularly scheduled maintenances on trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment including changing oil and fluids, checking batteries and lights, inspecting braking systems, inspecting wheel bearings and seals, and troubleshooting any major mechanical failures.
-Prioritize jobs and complete work orders in a timely fashion
- Maintain a clean and safe work space
