Job description
Requirements:
- Commercial Driver's License
- Hazmat Endorsement
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a box-truck and forklift as needed
- Load and unload cylinders and equipment
- Follow assigned routes and schedules daily
- Recording inventory and lot numbers legibly on invoices
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation of deliveries
- Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and report any issues or malfunctions
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while operating vehicles and handling materials
Skills:
- Valid Commercial driver's license with Hazmat Endorsement and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and pass DOT required random drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to read and follow maps/GPS systems
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
Note: Previous experience as a route driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
