We’re expanding and looking for a Diesel Mechanic with a strong background in Diagnostics to join CT Truck and Trailer Shop to keep Class 8 tractors and trailers in top shape through quick diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform engine, drivetrain, brake, and suspension diagnostics;
- Complete scheduled PM services and safety inspections;
- Document work orders accurately.
Requirements:
- 2 years of diesel repair experience;
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a focus on diagnostics and troubleshooting;
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and air brake systems.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools/software;
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
