JOB SUMMARY:
Production Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the production output, implementing the manufacturing strategy for productivity improvement, reducing scrap rate, minimizing equipment downtime, and ensuring safety.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
They are also responsible for all aspects of the organization’s warehouse operations, including but not limited to receiving, inventory control, selecting, loading, safety, and security
The Warehouse Manager must manage the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded
They also supervise a team of employees who handle the receiving, shipping, and storage of goods
Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity.
Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention
Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.
Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent
Three or more years of experience in a warehouse role managing hourly employees. (Preferred)
Preferred skills and qualifications But NOT required!
Associate’s degree (or equivalent) in logistics or supply chain management
Proficiency with SCM+ for warehouses
License to operate a forklift
Ability to communicate in more than one language
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
Occasionally assist customers by answering questions and providing excellent customer service
Maintains in compliance with safety and housekeeping practices and expectations.
Maintains a professional and flexible attitude; Willing to take on different job responsibilities.
