Please read ad thoroughly & contact with any questions. In short, this is a package deal for one UberBlack/UberSUV spot plus access to calls from a local company. The cost to the driver is $50/week. Driver must have eligible vehicle.
Who is this for?
-Current Uber driver who has an UberBlack or UberSUV eligible vehicle but is unable to add his or her current vehicle to the UberBlack or UberSUV platforms because those platforms are currently closed.
-Current UberX/Lyft driver who is thinking of upgrading.
What are we offering?
-An UberBlack/UberSUV spot for lease.
-Private non-Uber business from local company.
What can a driver expect to earn?
-A driver can expect to net $1000-$1600 per week.
A few things for you to consider:
1. First, review the prices to get an idea of how much better you'd get paid if on UberBlack & UberSUV: https://www.uber.com/cities/phoenix
2. Make sure you have an eligible vehicle for UberBlack or UberSUV: https://www.uber.com/drive/phoenix/vehicle-requirements/
3. Get a quote for commercial insurance: http://www.mikedeehaninsuranceagency.com/. Commercial insurance is MANDATORY. It costs more than traditional insurance but will allow you to build a book of your own clientele and get access to pick up at the airport.
4. The $1.80 Safe Rides Fee (Booking Fee). Once you have commercial insurance, Uber no longer withholds the $1.80 Safe Rides Fee from each trip on UberSelect. Instead the $1.80 goes to the payout grid, meaning you'll collect an additional $1.35 per UberSelect Trip. This will offset most of the increased cost of commercial insurance.
5. If you have an eligible vehicle but are currently only running on UberX, UberXL, and UberSelect, you will probably earn more than twice as much as you are currently earning in Gross Fares.
6. This is a package deal. Must lease an UberBlack spot to also get private business.
7. References available. Have had 4 drivers upgrade in this arrangement. One of them just bought his own 2018 Escalade after 2 years. He was driving UberX 2 years ago.
The Terms & Conditions & Cost:
1. Each week will begin on Monday @ 4:00 AM & end the following Monday @ 3:59 AM.
2. Payment is due each Wednesday BEFORE the week begins.
3. Cost is $50 per week.
4. Two weeks notice required to terminate agreement. If we can lease your spot out sooner, which we likely will, we would not hold you to the two weeks notice requirement and would terminate your lease as soon as another driver takes over.
5. Everything is done through Uber with Uber's approval of you as a driver & your vehicle.
