Primarily responsible for providing community management and effective customer service to designated communities/homeowners through in-depth knowledge of Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CC&Rs) and management contracts. Responsible for management and oversight of Community Association amenities, programming and staffing.
Position Responsibilities:
In conjunction with Community leadership, provide general oversight of staffing.
Oversight of development of effective programming, with a focus on balancing revenues and expenses.
Ongoing review of programming to ensure adherence to current trends.
Oversight of facility appearance, cleanliness, repairs and maintenance.
Interaction with residents to assess their needs, concerns, challenge.
In coordination with Community leadership, develop policies, procedures, rules and regulations and other related guidelines.
Oversight of communication plan to residents regarding programming options.
Oversight of facility organizational and safety plan.
Handle escalated complaints as needed.
In conjunction with Community leadership enforce established rules and policies.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
General understanding of accounting functions and processes.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, both oral and written.
Computer proficiency in standard software platforms.
Able to function and contribute in a team oriented atmosphere.
Proven staff supervisory experience.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Ability to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, and possess sound reasoning skills.
Ability to work on more than one assignment at a time with frequent interruptions, changes and delays. Ability to remain focused and work effectively and efficiently.
Required
2 year(s): (2) years of experience as a Manager encompassing all the following: Customer service experience with strong emphasis on problem-solving, seeking harmony and defusing conflict. Experience working with entities that involve knowledge and enforcement of Governing Documents, contract administration and vendor management. Meeting facilitation with boards of directors.
Develop and maintain a professional relationship with the Board of Directors and members of the community.
Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of applicable State , federal and local laws.
Facilitate and attend community meetings - Preparation of Board Packets
Assist the Board of Directors with Annual Budget
Project Management
Ensure vendors, contractors requests are appropriately executed maintaining records of service.
