Northern Arizona Home Builder has an immediate opening for a qualified PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT to add to the team. We are company dedicated to the highest quality in new home construction and are looking for an individual likewise focused on a values approach to business.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our Project SUPERINTENDENT responsible for overall management of new home construction projects and front end responsibilities. Coordinates and ensures project specific objectives/policies are met.
The position requires an individual that can provide technical direction and guidance to support staff, enforce company and project policies, maintain a close relationships with clients and ensure that all facets of each project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
- Reviews project proposals or plans to determine and establish time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources.
- Plans and organizes projects with the company Principal. Special attention to front-end responsibilities including framing, rough-in and and roofing.
- Oversee/control construction through administrative direction of an on-site superintendent to ensure project is built in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
- Is committed to high quality customer service.
- Coordinates and reviews all subcontractor bids. Assists in subcontractor selection and scheduling.
- Ensures all company, client and project policies/procedures are adhered to as directed.
- Provide advice, guidance, mentoring and direction to junior personnel toward the achievement of their personal development goals.
- Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing skills and competencies to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity.
- Accommodate additional responsibilities as assumed through personal initiative or assigned by higher authority.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education and experience in new home construction is required. Framing Experience a significant bonus.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, communication and analytical skills are necessities.
- Cost Estimating Experience a plus.
