Math and Reading Tutors Needed!
Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour, DOE
A growing tutoring and academic services company is seeking well-qualified math and reading tutors for private tutoring/intervention programs in Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and surrounding areas. The position will be part time and will require an estimate of 15- 20 hours per week after school, typically between 3:00 - 7:00 pm.
Requirements are as follows:
-Proficiency with elementary & high school math or reading/language arts concepts
-Completed a minimum of 15 credit hours course work in college level math or reading with 3.0 minimum GPA
-Applicant must supply transcript with proof of college course work
-Ability to differentiate material for a variety of learners
-Professional conduct and communication skills
-Must be flexible and prepared to meet the changing demands of the workplace
-Ability to maintain organized systems for materials and documentation
-Reliable transportation
-Must possess a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, or be willing to apply for the card and submit to a background check
