We're looking for a dedicated Finishing & Installation Specialist to join our team and help ensure every project meets our high standards of quality.
Job Overview:
This role will focus on the finishing of custom cabinetry, as well as assisting with the installation of custom pieces on-site. The ideal candidate will have some experience in woodworking or painting and be willing to learn and assist with installations. This is a versatile role ideal for someone who enjoys both creative work and hands-on tasks.
Responsibilities:
Apply finishing techniques to custom cabinetry, including staining, painting, and varnishing.
Assist with the installation of custom cabinets, furniture, and other woodwork at client locations.
Prep surfaces for finishing, ensuring smooth and high-quality application.
Ensure projects are installed to specifications, paying close attention to detail and quality.
Work closely with the lead installers to complete installations on time and to client satisfaction.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, both in the shop and on-site.
Assist with general carpentry tasks as needed during installation projects.
Qualifications:
Experience in woodworking, custom cabinetry, or painting is a plus.
Some familiarity with custom cabinet installation processes or carpentry techniques.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
Reliable, punctual, and professional with a positive attitude.
Own transportation and ability to travel to job sites as required.
Ability to lift and move materials, including large cabinetry pieces.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience.
Opportunity for a raise after a 90-day trial period.
