Capital Canyon Golf Club is looking for a Property Maintenance Manager to oversee all buildings on property including a water treatment facility.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills.
General Purpose:
Provides daily repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, waste water treatment plant, pool, grounds and other areas as required. Additionally, the Property Maintenance Manager will be responsible for leading the maintenance personnel onsite. Previous supervisory experience is a requirement for the position.
Key Responsibilities of the Property Maintenance Manager:
Performs repairs and maintenance and ensures cleanliness of the entire facility.
Manages contracts and contracted services that pertain to the maintenance of the facility and grounds.
Oversees operation of mechanical and power equipment utilized in the maintenance of the facility.
Basic knowledge of a Waste Water Treatment Plant. Responsible for taking daily readings and completing daily
process for the plant. Further education is available for qualified applicant.
Coordinates exterior property cleaning and maintenance in accordance with company standards.
Implements policies and procedures for the Building Maintenance Department, including compliance of all
company standards relating to quality of products and services.
Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance,
rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Monitors business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas of labor, productivity, costs and other expenses.
Manages department members that may include, but is not limited to: Water Treatment Staff and Maintenance Staff.
Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Develops ongoing training programs
for department
Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction.
Communicates any changes or new policies and procedures to the department.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Willing to work weekends, holidays and on-call shifts and have regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications for the Property Maintenance Manager:
Associates degree or three years of relevant experience.
Drivers License required.
Other applicable mechanical/equipment licenses (Boiler, HVAC etc.). Trade certificate or license highly desired.
Basic electrical knowledge required
Pool and spa experience preferred
Basic waste water treatment knowledge preferred or willing to learn
Computer skills and experience managing personnel required.
Physical Demands:
Frequently uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
