We are hiring an part-time office assistant to join us at the largest law firm in Yavapai County, Arizona. This is an entry-level position. Training will be provided by our friendly office manager and in-house accountant. Over time, this could become a full-time position for someone willing and able to take on additional responsibilities. We could use someone from 12 pm to 5 pm Monday through Friday, but there is some flexibility to work more or less.
Duties:
-Assist our in house accountant with bookkeeping duties such as data entry and generating/editing invoices (with training)
-Provide backup reception coverage
-Perform courier duties such as delivering documents to the post office and courthouse
-Scan paper files
-Collaborate with team members on various projects as needed
Desired Characteristics:
-No experience required, but office and bookkeeping experience is a plus
-General computer skills
-Strong reading comprehension and writing abilities
-Attention to detail
-Professional communication skills and general agreeability
