Job Summary:
We are seeking a Manual Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in machining. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate manual lathes and mills in addition to other machining equipment in order to machine parts according to specifications.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
1-2 years experience as a Manual Machinist with proficiency in lathe and mill operation.
Strong understanding of basic math principles for measurements and calculations.
Ability to effectively use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
The ability to read and understand prints.
Must be able to work in a fast paced and physically demanding environment.
Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm.
An understanding of safety as it relates to manual mill and lathe machining.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
