We provide the best merchandising opportunities and solutions for major retailers throughout the country. As a, Merchandisers, you will be assisting with retail resets in your area.

The Merchandiser is responsible for completing resets that involve a variety of products, inside a major grocery store.

The requirement for the position includes the ability to handle occasional hot, cold environments (i.e., freezer and non-air conditioned working areas) which may require the use of gloves, warm clothing, and comfortable footwear.

The ability to stand, bend, kneel, push, pull, reach, and climb for long periods of time, and in a constant repetitive motion.

The ability to lift 50 pounds, install shelves or transport product and materials to and from stockroom to sales floor.

The ability to read instructions, perform basic math functions, as well as follow verbal and written directions, that will assist in the completion of the accurate resets accurately to plan-o-grams/schematic.

As a Merchandiser, you will be working in a public environment and must exhibit a friendly and helpful attitude, work well on a team with a diverse population, follow direction from the Team Leader as well as Operations, and Store Management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Reset specified products in a retail store as directed by the plan-o-gram or schematics.

Stock, restock displays, shelves, freezers cooler with new or transferred merchandise.

Cut in new products on displays, shelves, freezers or coolers.

Hang, attach or replace price tags on merchandise when missing or requested to change.

Set up advertising signs and displays on shelves, counters, tables and other specified locations.

Be able to complete clean-up task and projects when a request by Team Lead, Supervisor or Store.

Correctly separate and identify back stock, discontinued and unallocated items in boxes, bins, and crates in location(s) as identified by Team Lead, Supervisor or Store.

Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles.

Work with Team Leads on missing paperwork.

Provide continuity coverage based upon business needs that could be on-going.

Provide assistance as directed on special projects or audits.

ADDITIONAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the completion of all resets, project, and remodels.

Examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered, replenished, or removed.

Report work daily in SRS reporting system.

Must have all work entered by Monday for a previous week worked.

Build and Maintain Good Relationships with Store Managers, FMC's, ICC's and other Key Store Personnel.

Set up displays and various racking fixtures per retailer programs, as outlined in the directive.

Conduct audits and surveys of store fixtures store attribute or necessary information.

Augment shelf or fixture delivery, and communicate broken, missing or damage parts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

6+ months' time experience as a merchandiser or equivalent experience/exposure is preferred.

Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Be flexible and willing to adapt to changing market needs.

Display professional, self-driven, positive attitude integrity and ability to work well in public settings with a diverse population.

Be on time and dependable.

Work all scheduled hours that could including overnight and early morning hours.

Have a working and reliable telephone for daily communication.

Must have a valid email address for daily communication.

Have working knowledge of various software programs, and common computer functions.

Have a reliable form of transportation and proof of auto insurance.

Be able to work a variety of hours and schedule to support the business needs.

The ability to, commute to stores within an assigned area daily.

Basic math skills, reading and the ability to estimate quantities.

Ability to effectively communicate with store management, personnel, and customers.

Ability to maintain records, conduct inventories.

Ability to understand invoices and verify completeness of shipments.

Ability to successfully work independently and in a group.

Handle light power tools, (drills), and manual tools, (hammer, screwdrivers etc.)

Stand, bend, stoop, climb stairs/ladders and lift above shoulder level consistently.

Walk and stand for 8-hour shifts (often on concrete and/or tile surfaces).

Lift up to 50lbs.
