JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary:
Systems/Network Admin - IT Support Technician will perform diagnostics, hardware repair, desktop support, remote assistance and onsite support. They will need to know Microsoft Business 365. Azure/Entra a huge plus. This position will have the opportunity to interact with mostly business customers to learn their needs and act as a consulting expert to lead them to the best solution to their current IT needs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hardware issues.
Install and troubleshoot problems with operating systems and business software.
Software tune-up, virus clean up and installation of virus protection software.
Data recovery, transfer, and back up.
Set up new computers, printers, related equipment.
In-person instruction with customers on the use of computers, software, and devices.
Good knowledge on Microsoft Business 365 Admin portal. Azure/Entra a plus.
Physical setup and installation of business networks; servers, terminals, racks, printers, routers, switches, wifi, TV, cameras, and cabling, anything required in a business environment.
Manage - domains, servers, terminals, printers, routers, switches, cabling, cameras.
Set up of business firewalls and security applications.
Network cabling and termination; Cat5e, Cat6, RJ45. Fiber a plus.
Set up of WiFi networks
Well versed in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SMB
Must Be:
Honest, Trustworthy, Organized, Timely, Confident.
Able to physically install IT equipment. Work on ladders, and handle carrying IT equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
Customer Service – 5 years
Desktop Support – 5 years
Computer Repair – 3 years
Network Support – 3 years
MSP Experience a plus
CompTIA A+, Net+, Server+, Security+ Certification preferred
