Responsibilities:
We work on all makes and models, and on a wide variety of repairs. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Initiates automotive services and repairs by determining performance problems and services requested.
Verify warranty and service contract coverage, develop estimates, write repair orders, and maintain customer records and relationships.
Determines automotive problems and services by listening to customers description of symptoms, clarifying description of problems, conduction inspections, taking test drives, checking vehicle maintenance records, and examining service schedules.
Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor.
Prepares repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required.
Ensure that the required documentation is completed and accurate.
Obtains approval signatures and enters repair orders into service database system.
Maintains customer relationships by explaining estimates and expected return of the vehicle, obtaining customers approval of estimates, obtaining, and providing contact telephone numbers, answering questions and concerns, arranging towing and temporary transportation.
