Vetcon LLC is currently seeking a Construction Superintendent candidate to take ownership of and lead successful projects for our clients

Superintendent Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, including OSHA guidelines.
Manage project schedules and supervise activities among subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
Build strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication, address challenges, and provide updates throughout the project lifecycle.
Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide the team.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to specifications.
Lead site meetings, maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and any changes to the project scope.
Manage project closeout activities, including punch lists, final inspections, and obtaining certificates of occupancy.
Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to minimize delays or cost overruns.
Review and resolve Requests for Information (RFIs) and address issues that arise during construction.
Superintendent requirements:
Able to review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide the team.
In-depth understanding of the construction industry
Strong technical, and communication skills, including email and document management/organization
Computer Skills: Knowledge and proficiency in the following computer software systems: Outlook, Excel, Word and Project
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to specifications.
Lead site meetings, maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and any changes to the project scope.
Manage project closeout activities, including punch lists, final inspections, and obtaining certificates of occupancy.
Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to minimize delays or cost overruns.
Review and resolve Requests for Information (RFIs) and address issues that arise during construction
OSHA certification (OSHA10, OSHA30) or other relevant safety training is preferred.
PMP, CCM or CSM is preferred.
Able to calculate figures and amounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Able to manage team of employees and multiple projects
Accurate and precise attention to detail
Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
In-depth understanding of the construction industry
Self-motivated and self-directed
Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations
Able to build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customers
Must be willing to obtain an OSHA 30 certification
Valid Driver’s License
