Kinetic Sunlight LLC is the sister company of Static Steel, a premiere steel solar carport contractor, now expanding into the electrical scope of solar carport installation. We are seeking an experienced electrician to join our dynamic and expanding team. The ideal candidate is driven, motivated, organized, and have a mechanical aptitude. Additionally, we are seeking a candidate who is able to travel with the team to 100% of job site locations, the majority of which are in California. The ideal candidate is looking to learn and develop into a leadership position.
Qualifications:
- REQUIRED: experience reading plans and following single line diagrams, proper grounding technique for equipment, conduit and creating new grounding points at fused disconnect location for customer side connection of line side taps, experience successfully completing line side taps of commercial solar system including installation of glastic barriers, bus extensions, split cabinet doors, under strict timelines (outages) and watch of UL inspectors certifying work
- Experience mounting and wiring load centers, fused and unfused disconnects, meter sockets
- Knowledge of utility specific equipment clearances and codes
- Experience bending conduit, use of proper fittings, sizing and utilization of junction and pull boxes
- Experience making AC and DC solar specific wire connections utilizing various methods (waterproof wire nuts, polaris lugs, MC4 connectors, compression, and mechanical lugs)
- Experience running new lighting circuits and tapping into existing ones
