The ideal candidate should have a desire to work and grow as a team player within a multi-discipline engineering firm.Compensation and Benefits:Approximate Base Salary – $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 based on experience.Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.Hybrid Work Schedule (subject to change).401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee Contribution.Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and construction methods.Interest in working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering consulting environment.Passion for the design of power distribution, lighting, and communications systems.Knowledge of applicable codes and standards including the National Electrical Code (NEC).Ability to perform electrical load calculations, branch circuit design, voltage drop analysis, short-circuit studies, and photometric calculations.Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit for electrical system design and documentation.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work effectively as part of a project team.Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently under appropriate engineering supervision.Proficiency with Microsoft OfficeExperience with photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) design is preferred.Preferred ExperienceExperience developing photometric analyses using AGi32.Experience with SKM PowerTools, ETAP, or similar platforms.Experience preparing energy compliance calculations using COMcheck, EnergyPro or similar software.Experience with photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) design.Exposure to the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry and building systems design.
