What The Role IsThe O&M Data Analytics Intern will be part of the Clearway Data Analytics Team and will report to the Manager, Data Analytics. The O&M Data Analytics team is responsible for analyzing the performance of Wind, Solar, and Distributed Generation assets to identify, quantify, document, and communicate generation upside opportunities within the fleet through pattern/anomaly detection.This position is part of the 12-week Summer Internship Program at Clearway Energy Group beginning in June 2024.We are looking for first or second-year students in a graduate program in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.Throughout this summer internship program, you’ll get exposure to real projects and challenges while gaining first-hand professional experience. At Clearway, you’ll gain access to an innovative and fast-paced work environment. You’ll also participate in networking and learning events with your fellow intern cohort.This position will be based in our Scottsdale, San Francisco, Carlsbad, or Houston office.What You'll Be Doing
Perform data cleaning, validation and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy in the analytics
Analyze and interpret data sets to identify trends, patterns and anomalies in wind and solar generation
Collaborate with team members to develop data visualizations to understand performance
Identify process improvement opportunities to increase accuracy of metrics and streamline processes
The O&M Data Analytics Intern will be assigned with an individual project and will present results to the project leadership at the end of the summer.What You'll Bring

Advanced MS Office and Excel skills
