The Retail Storeroom Supervisor role is a full-time management position responsible for all aspects of managing retail stores on property. Accountable to delivering sales plan through effective management/delegation of store and operational tasks. Maintain a strong leadership presence in the storeroom and retail areas to provide direction and oversight.Uphold and enforce all policies, procedures, and brand standards.Direct inventory management activities.Ensure prompt, organized, and accurate delivery of new merchandise to store locations.Execute updated floor sets and product change over in outlets based on needs of the business and seasonal periods.Act as manager on duty, when scheduled, to address customer service, vendor  concerns, maintenance issues,Partner with the sales lead team to support action plans that optimize results and ensure effective execution of operational initiativesAccountability of all policies and proceduresIncorporate Loss Prevention and safety messages into daily operationsMaintain OSHA requirements to ensure the outlets are a safe working and shopping environment.      Weekly Meetings & TasksBegin each week with a 10–15-minute huddle to set the tone, align on key goals, safety reminders, and team wins.Weekly direct report one on one meetings Include 5-minute micro-training sessions during down time — covering topics like receiving accuracy, Dataworks tips, or safety procedures.Monthly Meetings & TasksCheck and replenish basic supplies (labels, printer ink, tape, clipboards, cleaning materials) and reorganize storage bins and shelves.Execute monthly shop inventories in partnership with Retail Assistant Manager (Storeroom)Develop a rotational system where storeroom staff can cross-train in other shops or retail functions to build skillsets and keep daily work fresh.Allocate time for monthly organization and cleaning, ensuring proper labeling, shelf order, and accessibility.Identify items with upcoming expirations or limited-time relevance and communicate with Retail Manager for promotional action.Quarterly Meetings & TasksCreate and schedule quarterly storeroom deep cleaningReview Team training needs developing training needsRotate seasonal or dated product to front shelves and flag excess or aged items for sell-through strategies.Update product shelf labels, storage signs, and area identifications to maintain clear visibility and reduce mispacks.Review current Standard Operating Procedures with team, incorporating any changes or improvements into training materials.Annual Meetings & TasksSubmit Retail hourly reviews reviews/ developmental plans, Retail Manager to approveSchedule an annual deep cleaning of the storeroom — including floors, vents, shelves, light fixtures, and hard-to-reach storage areas.Check all equipment used in the storeroom (scanners, printers, carts, ladders, etc.) for wear, service needs, or replacement.Ensure all storeroom team members are up-to-date with required training or certifications (e.g., food safety handling, lift training)Other Operating Purchase Requests & Approvals Purchase requests are approved by Director of Retail Receiving & Business Support
