Essential Job FunctionsProvide weekend operation support through various tasks as needed, including:Assessing general needs during the program and be able to address those needs in an appropriate wayCommunicating effectively with volunteers and parentsWorking with other staff to set-up and tear-downProviding evaluation of situations and making appropriate decisions for issues regarding parents and staffingCoordination of the necessary staffing requirements for weekend services:Recruiting, building and maintaining volunteersContacting potential and regular volunteers by telephone and emailObtaining and maintaining volunteer informationHelping forecast the needs of the Special Needs ministry in regards to volunteer staffingProviding input regarding the design and implementation of volunteer trainingAssisting in the execution of various department and church events, including but not limited to:Dad/Daughter DinnerVolunteer AppreciationEasterChristmas Eve
