Help the Hopi people through counseling while you learn about their culture. This counselor will work on the Hopi reservation five days per week, eight hours per day. The pay is $480 per day or $2,400 per week. Free housing is available. There is a $125 charge per month for utilities. Your work would include a broad range of issues working with individuals and families.
Requirements: Must be able to work independently as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) or licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) or licensed psychologist or licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT). Must have three years of clinical experience and must have excellent interpersonal skills. Preference will be given to a male (this requirement is from the Hopi agency) with experience with Native Americans and/or experience in a community counseling agency.
