AJAX is a small dynamic engineering, geology and land surveying firm providing consulting and technical services to the mining industry. We specialize in project and construction management, closure and reclamation, geology and environmental compliance.
We are currently seeking field staff to be based in Globe, AZ for environmental compliance monitoring, which includes groundwater sampling, surface water sampling, weather station maintenance, field instrumentation and data retrieval, including wireless communications.
Candidates must have at least 1 year of relevant technical experience, or education/training. Accurate and thorough writing and oral communication skills are a must. Candidates must be a self-starter and able to foster a positive work environment and have the ability to organize and handle multiple assignments, while repeatedly following standard operating procedures, safe work protocols and documentation requirements. Field-based assignments involve working in various construction and industrial settings with uneven terrain and climatic changes.
