This exciting opportunity lets you contribute to cutting-edge projects while safeguarding our national security. Job Responsibilities: Administer, maintain, and support physical and virtual Windows, Linux/UNIX, and Active Directory server environments to ensure system availability, performance, and security.Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and sustain operating systems, applications, and enterprise services in accordance with Government and organizational requirements.Monitor system and network performance; troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and operational issues across classified and unclassified environments.Provide Tier II/III technical support for end users, including workstation deployment, peripheral support, user account administration, and technical training.Manage user accounts, permissions, privileged access, and authentication services while enforcing cybersecurity and access control policies.Administer and support network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, encryptors, LAN/WAN connectivity, and copper/fiber cabling systems.Maintain network documentation, configurations, and port assignments while monitoring uptime, traffic, and overall network health.Support cybersecurity operations by implementing RMF requirements, managing security controls, conducting vulnerability assessments, supporting continuous monitoring activities, and maintaining ATO compliance documentation.Respond to cybersecurity incidents, malware infections, and classified spillage events, including system isolation, evidence preservation, and remediation support.Execute and validate backup, recovery, contingency, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure system resilience and operational continuity.Coordinate with vendors, Government stakeholders, and support organizations to resolve technical issues, manage support tickets, and oversee warranty and maintenance activities.Support system modernization, technology evaluations, lifecycle replacement planning, system testing, and implementation of new technologies and capabilities.Prepare and deliver technical briefings, reports, recommendations, and analysis to leadership, stakeholders, and technical governance boards.Develop, maintain, and update system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), configuration records, and troubleshooting guides to support operations and rapid onboarding of new personnel.Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and operational efficiencies in support of mission requirements and organizational objectives.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
