Coronado Veterinary Hospital is expanding and looking to hire an experienced Veterinary Assistant, Technician or CVT.
We are a BUSY 5 doctor practice that is open 7 days a week with extended hours into the evening.
Because of this, we are looking for a team member that has a good work ethic, positive energy, and works well with others. We have taken the time to develop a strong team at Coronado and need people who will strive to uphold the positive culture we have already built.
MUST BE AVAILABLE for evenings and weekend shifts.
This position is for both full time and part time opportunities.
Requirements:
Must be able to set a catheter, set an IV, restrain, know basic diagnostics including radiographs, etc.
Must be a team player who is willing to learn and take direction. We expect a high quality of customer service and care. We do require a flexible schedule at this time and must be available to work evening shifts along with weekends. Knowing and understanding AVImark software systems is a plus, but not a requirement.
Starting salary is at $11/hr and can be negotiable based on level of experience and/or education.
