Part -Time Housekeeper to clean Recreational Vehicles (Motor homes) in the Huachuca City area
WHETSTONE HUACHUCA CITY ARIZONA
The position is for a Self Employed - contracted individual. We pay by Direct Deposit to your Zelle Account at the completion of each job.
This is an "Immediate Need Position” so be prepared to begin work soon.
THE WORK: general house cleaning to include but not limited to: cleaning bathrooms, washing dishes, doing laundry, making beds, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning stoves, ovens, microwaves, showers, toilets, windows and mirrors, refrigerators, degreasing and cleaning BBQ grills, collapsible picnic tables, camp chairs, exterior storage bins and such. Also includes taking inventory to ensure supplied items are serviceable and RV is properly stocked for rental. In addition maintaining a supply shed that houses the exchange linens and other items we supply as part of our rentals.
We furnish a checklist as well as an inventory sheet for each unit being cleaned. We can offer access to a washer and dryer for laundry during normal hours of 7am-4pm, or you may choose to do laundry elsewhere or at home. You are required to complete all tasks on the checklist and to provide management with a list of broken or missing items as well as things that obviously need repair and/or items you replaced with stock from our shed. We typically provide a schedule of units to be cleaned / inventoried at least 3 days in advance of the job completion requirement. The work is part time and sporadic.
NOTE WORK HOURS: You must accomplish the job(s) between the hours of 0600 and 1600 (6am -4pm) Monday thru Sunday - We typically allow 2-3 days to accomplish the work so you have plenty choice of time and day when you choose to accomplish the work. We expect you to inform us of when you'll be here and that you be promptly on time.
There are times when as many as 3 units may have to be cleaned and inventoried within a two day period. There are also times when periods as much as 3 weeks may pass without any work.
Because you may/may not be allergic to particular cleaning products, (we do recommend using a disinfectant solution such as water/bleach or Lysol). You must supply your own cleaning equipment and supplies to include: chemicals/soaps as well as broom, dustpan, mop, vacuum. We highly recommend your own a small shop vacuum with long cleaning attachment that allows you to vacuum under tight clearances (slide-outs, couches and tight crevices) occasionally you may be required to spot clean carpet or upholstery.
Our facilities include use of a wash basin, an outside wash rack, and a washer/dryer for doing laundry on site. You may choose to do laundry at another location of your choice at your own expense. We do not provide the laundry soap, bleach or fabric softener, you must do so as part of your service.
You are not responsible for washing the exterior surface of the RV, however if your willing, that pays separately if we deem it necessary.
The desired Individual: We are looking for a trustworthy - PUNCTUAL - self starting - hard working - reliable - individual. You must have your own means of "dependable transportation".
THE WORK SCHEDULE: As a contracted individual, you set your schedule to accomplish the job a steadfast requirement is that the work be accomplished between 6am and 4pm. We notify you a minimum of 2 days prior to the return of an RV, and generally allow up to 3 days for you to accomplish the task, but there may be times when we may notify you and need service done by the following day.
THE OPTIMAL CANIDATE: Would be a person living near our location, that has dependable transportation and is puctual and very detail orientated. Consider that if YOU were renting a motorhome for your families vacation what would your expectations be? We would hope you'd expect " a clean , well stocked/outfitted and organized rental !"
LOCATION: The worksite is in Whetstone AZ within ½ mile of the Highway 82/90 Intersection (just north of Huachuca City/Sierra Vista and South of Benson)
INTERVIEW PROCESS: We screen your resume (YES you must submit an actual resume and it must contain "work" references), your resume should include skills related to the job description, if you look like a fit, then two interviews are conducted. The first is a telephonic pre screening interview, if at the completion of the telephonic interview, we are interested, we will schedule a second one on one interview and may have you clean a unit while your here.

HIRING QUALIFICATIONS: If you’re a housewife/house husband that keeps a clean and tidy house then you are very likely qualified! - Naturally we are looking for the most qualified applicant. There is a trial 30 day period in which to show your work skills, dependability and attention to detail. NOTE: before being allowed to work for us a contractor, you must provide proof of American citizenship or work visa (green card), a driver's license and social security card and you must fill out a W-9 tax form for tax reporting purposes. If after the 30 day trial period we decide you are the best applicant for this position, we may sign you to an annual renewable service contract.
TAX REPORTING: We provide a tax form 1099 showing total wages paid for the year.
REFERENCES: You don't necessarily have to provide references as part of your Resume’s process, however doing so certainly helps. If you are asked to come in for a personal face to face interview - be prepared to provide a printed list of references and attest to your skills as they pertain to the job requirements specified above.
