Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an efficient Receptionist in Sun City, Arizona. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact, managing the front desk, answering phone calls, welcoming visitors, and coordinating administrative tasks. The industry of this role is within a religious institution, where your responsibilities will include handling inquiries, maintaining office organization, and assisting with the dissemination of the weekly newsletter.Responsibilities: Manage the front desk, serving as the primary contact for all visitors, parishioners, and callers. Respond to inquiries related to church services, events, and general information. Coordinate administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, data entry, and mail sorting. Maintain and update church records and databases. Assist in the distribution of internal and external communications as directed by church leadership. Contribute to general office organization and order office supplies when required. Collaborate with church leadership to create and maintain volunteer schedules for various church services and events. Communicate volunteer needs and scheduling changes to volunteers promptly and professionally. Assist in organizing and managing special volunteer projects or events. Oversee the church’s office calendar, scheduling meetings, events, and appointments for church leadership. Assist in the creation and distribution of the weekly church newsletter, including gathering content, prooing, and ensuring timely delivery to members and visitors. Provide administrative support to the senior pastor, ministry leaders, and church staff as needed.
