Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk in the retail industry, located in Tempe, Arizona. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for processing customer credit applications and maintaining customer credit records. Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner Maintain and update customer credit records consistently Monitor customer credit accounts regularly Take appropriate measures to collect delinquent payments from customers Utilize various computer programs like ServiceNow and Workday for data entry tasks Use Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and store data Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial data Collaborate with the team to achieve shared goals Resolve customer credit inquiries and issues efficiently Contribute to improving the credit process by suggesting enhancements and changes. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create, manage, and manipulate spreadsheets. Experience in data entry, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with retail industry preferred. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions. High school diploma or equivalent required. Willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly. Flexibility to work during retail hours, including weekends and holidays, if required. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time, as well as lift and move items up to 25 pounds.
