As an Intern within our Benefits Outsourcing technology group, you will have the opportunity to work beside industry leaders, while developing your skills and technical knowledge, and deliver creative, cutting-edge solutions to real business issues.The UX intern will collaborate closely with the Product Owner and project stakeholders to understand and represent user needs and business requirements to the design and development teams. The role involves assisting in defining user experience goals and expected outcomes for new or improved features. The UX Intern will help ensure that the delivered designs meet user needs, align with business objectives, and provide the best possible solution for the product. This includes gathering feedback, contributing to design decisions, and ensuring consistency across the user journey.Responsibilities:
Be part of a collaborative, agile sprint team
Receive mentorship by a seasoned UX designer
Engage in all aspects of the product design life cycle
Present a real design solution to a group of stakeholders
Be available for 3-month program at 40/hr per week with potential for follow-on employment
QualificationsAbout you.
Current college student (at least a junior) required, preferably in a program with heavy emphasis on working toward a Certificate, bachelor’s or master's Degree in the study of Design, Information Architecture, Human Factors or related field. Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
A design portfolio demonstrating craft and solving problems and a familiarity with design thinking (can be class projects).
A passion for the field of digital product design.
Studying and looking to apply human-centered design process and lifecycle across key channels and platforms.
Self-motivated, mature, and possessing good communication skills
Detail-oriented critical thinker
Basic understand of prototyping tools (Sketch, Axure, or Figma)
General awareness of technology frameworks (HTML/CSS, React, Angular, Bootstrap etc.) is helpful but not required.
No prior experience required
