For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM 2024 Employee Benefits (https://www.abm.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/2024-Recruitment-Frontline-11.6.23.pdf) | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM)Job Functions· Scheduled stripping, scrubbing, buffing, refinishing or sealing of different types of hard surfaced floors using appropriate equipment and chemicals.· Scheduled carpet cleaning using approved methods and chemicals.· Spot cleaning of carpets as needed.· Responsible for securing working area, using appropriate safety barricades, and removing when duties are completed and area is safe for public use.· Maintain the cleanliness of all Equipment being utilized and to report any issues with the equipment to the supervisors immediately.· Report any safety hazards as noticed during routine work assignment.· Follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations in the carrying out of assigned work.· Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications· At least 1 year of experience caring for/cleaning carpets and floor surfaces in an industrial or commercial setting· Must be knowledgeable about the care of different types of commercial carpeting / flooring.· Must have working knowledge of chemicals used for different types of commercial carpeting / flooring.· Must have ability to operate machinery required for duties according to safety standards.· Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the above job duties.A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.Military and veteran friendly employer, veterans and candidates with military experience encouraged to apply.REQNUMBER: 100568All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
