Position: Java Developer
Location: Tempe, AZ 85281 (Remote until after 2021 or longer)
Duration: 6 Months contract to hire (CTH)

Consultant must be willing to work on W2 or 1099.

Job Description:
Java Developer

Must- Haves:

  • Overall 7+ years of developing internet-scale solution development primarily using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and no-sql databases (primarily mongo)
  • Proficient in Java 8 (Lamdbas, Stream, Completeble Future, optional, generics)
  • Proficient in Spring boot webflux, Reactor 3, spring-data, REST
  • Experience developing and building asynchronous Reactive Micro-services utilizing Vertx
  • Experience developing REST APIs using Spring Boot 2.0 (reactive) and skilled in Open API (swagger) specification
  • Experience in designing database schemas, index design, and optimizations for query tuning
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field


Plusses:
  • Test-Driven Development experience
  • Experience utilizing Grafana, Jaeger, Splunk to monitor and troubleshooting application systems

Demonstrated experience in using modern software engineering tools: git workflows, Gradle, load testing tools, mock frameworks
