We deliver services that connect, host, virtualize, store, collaborate, integrate, compute and transact business solutions that utilizes cloud first, automation, analytics, “as a Service”, BIG data and software defined.Lead a team of Network engineers accountable for end-to-end Telecommunication services aligned to global standards and initiatives. You will partner with internal and external IT stakeholders to drive a proactive capacity management plan. You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Connectivity services (Telecommunication) infrastructure, influencing the Plan, Build and Deploy phases of its lifecycle, while fully owning the operational activities for Honeywell sites in various regions. You will be the focal point for all connectivity operations and engage key stakeholders to communicate the status of Connectivity-related projects.Key Responsibilities
Manage end to end service operations in the network access (LAN) scope
Lead a team of Subject Matter Experts to deliver global and contemporary solutions which meet our legal and regulatory requirements securely
Accelerate the consolidation and efficiency of LAN/Wireless LAN over a single network infrastructure that is cost effective and meets the connectivity requirements at each of our locations
Drive the transformation of legacy services to contemporary solutions using software defined networks, virtualization, automation, orchestration, segmentation and edge intelligence
Develop compelling business cases around problems, risks, benefits and business outcomes with the financial justification required to execute on them
Generate useful metrics vis ServiceNow and develop multiple dashboard views to validate the heath of network services
Oversee ‘Go-Live’ activities of new deployments and operationalization to steady state
Prepare, review, and approve Change Management requests
Provide technical and business input for IT infrastructure projects related to all networking and related technologies
Continuously evaluate service levels and ensure results are oriented to customer satisfaction
Drive service improvements via metrics, root cause analysis, problem management and all ITSM processes
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelors’ Degree
8 years of experience managing global network infrastructure, (LAN/WLAN)
3 years of experience managing a team of SMEs which are culturally diverse, globally distributed and technically focused
2 years of experience in Network architecture, automation and orchestration, methodologies, understanding of software defined networking
