This position is for an Infrastructure Analyst on the Pivotal Cloud FoundryProduct Team within Infrastructure Target Web PaaS. This product team is responsible for building and maintaining the Platform-as-a-Service(PaaS) for a private internal cloud platform called Technical Platform 2 (TP2).
The work environment is very collaborative, fast paced, and utilizes agile methodologies. Technical skills and abilities will be challenged every day, and the expectation is adequate time is invested into learning and developing new skills on a continual basis as the job demands.
We have a combination of software developers and infrastructure analysts on the team currently, and need someone with Bash knowledge and/or experience. This is a core language to our platform-as-a-service, and as a result, a key skill needed to understand, monitor, and debug our platform.
Qualifications
Primary (required) skills:
Understanding of cloud-native platforms. (Containerization, CI/CD, Orchestration, Observability, Service Mesh, Distributed Database & Storage, Networking, Messaging, Container Registry & Runtime)
AWS Cloud Solutions Experience
Terraform
EMR or Hadoop
Informatica Data Engineering Quality
Experience and/or knowledge of Bash.
Experience and/or knowledge of Linux.
Learning agility and willingness to study and adopt new technologies.
