Job description
- Provide tax preparation and planning services to clients
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations
- Assist clients with tax compliance and reporting requirements
- Represent clients in front of tax authorities, if necessary
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Tax Preparer or Enrolled Agent
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
- Proficient in tax software and accounting systems. Prefer knowledge of Intuit products such as Lacert or ProConnect
As a Tax Preparer, you will play a crucial role in providing expert tax services to our clients. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws, identifying opportunities for tax savings, and assisting clients with their financial needs. This position requires a high level of expertise in tax preparation and planning. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of federal and state tax laws, as well as experience in account analysis, general ledger reconciliation, and account reconciliation. Knowledge of securities law, financial auditing, corporate accounting, and general ledger accounting is also highly desirable.
