Summary of Role:

The Service Dispatcher reports to the General Manager and is responsible for scheduling and dispatching technicians to differing jobs for residential customers. Customer-based activities require the individual to possess traits of decisiveness, initiative, tact, judgment, integrity, dependability, and the ability to communicate in a technically credible manner. Job-related contact can occur with virtually all demographic groups; with the majority of working contacts being customers, Green Valley Cooling & Heating technicians, the General Manager, and the Sales Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls from our customers and service technicians.

• Assign call priorities and set scheduled for the technicians.

• Communicate professionally with customers.

• Provide guidance to the management team.

• Maintain the dispatch board and schedule by forecasting the workload 2-3 days out
